Elmira Heights receives NY Main Street funding to revitalize downtown
Elmira Heights Urban Renewal Agency, a partner organization to Community Progress, Inc., announced that, thanks to a state grant, they have received special funding to help renovations in the village. According to the Elmira Star-Gazette article,
The village was able to secure nearly $128,000 in New York Main Street grant funding for downtown revitalization, specifically to assist local building owners who have plans to renovate their properties.
The funding will improve existing building conditions in the historic 14th Street business district and provide a streetscape enhancement project.
CPI wants to congratulate EHURA on securing this funding to help renovate and improve their community!
